To celebrate the arrival of autumn and thus apple season: a retake of these popular fruit candleholders.
Inspired by Enzo Mari's fruit prints, these apple candleholders are part of a cornucopia project. I hope it brings some lighthearted cheer to this world.
Thrown with reclaimed coloured clay. Handbuild porcelain leafs that slot in the piece. For stability the base of the candeholder is left purposely thick.
All items are thrown on the potter's wheel. Variations between pieces in size and candle holder do occur. Thrown to fit a standard dinner candle.
Size: about 10 cm tall with leafs, 7 cm without, and roughly 9 cm dia
