Fly Away - no.5/2024

The wall plaque is the exact dimensions of a standard Boeing 737 airplane window. The gradient is obtained by mixing three solid colours - here blue and white - into eachother, via a repeated fold and rolling technique. The two colours blend into eachother during this labour intensive process. The result: a dreamy escape, as if you’re on your own journey.
 
As with most coloured porcelain, the piece really works best in a spot where direct sunlight falls some point early morning or late afternoon.

Comes with a removable hanging system. The plaque will be carefully wrapped in a archival box, which will be boxed up again for safe shipping.
